It all began some years ago at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. A combined departmental elective course lecture had brought together students from various departments of the College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS), it was a very important lecture as elements of that lecture session was to appear in the not so distant semester’s examination.
Also important about that very lecture was the fact that two persons amongst the numerous participants were later to be the ones who this write up celebrates today.
At one corner of the lecture hall sat together two guys who were cousins, Chima Okoro who now lives in Melbourne, Australia and Azubuike Okponenwu who resides in the Lagos, Nigeria.
The lecture was yet to commence so they decided to quench their thirst with cold cans of Pepsi which they had brought alongside them.
After gulping his, Azubuike tossed the can aside.
That was so bad of you to litter the place Bro, Chima commented and that wasn’t all, the tossed can had landed on a fair lady’s shoe.
Gosh! In a moment of carefreeness Azubuike had littered the hall and also thrown a can at a lady who was looking bewildered.
I am sorry Azubuike managed to say to this lady who replied with its okay but please do use the trash bin next time.
That was how Zubby and Wizzy became friends.
Real bossom and inseparable friends that on the 30th of December 2016, they are both going to walk down the aisle and be joined together in holy matrimony.
They both had long graduated from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, from studentship into main players in the labour market.
Now they wish to invite you to join them and celebrate as they graduate from being Friends with each other to being married to each other.
We at plentytori wish them a happy married life and pray that God will immensely bless their Union, Amen.
